Draft.builds use of your personal data

Your use of data generated by Draft.build
Draft.build expends considerable cost and effort to collect and maintain data presented through the Draft.build platform. Accordingly, any use of Draft.build data should be via the Draft.build platform unless no feasible alternative exists. Any use outside of the Draft.build platform must also comply with any conditions set by Draft.build data partners.
Draft.builds use of your plans generated in Draft.build
Draft.build advises that data you generate using Draft.build:
- will not be disclosed publically
- may be used in aggregate in a de-identified, anonymised fashion to assist our comparative reporting
- may be used for testing or support purposes
- may be used for referrals if you opt to share data
Your use of third party data presented by Draft.build
You must not use third party data presented by Draft.build in any way, manner or form that contrevenes the license to which the data was originally provided to Draft.build.
Representations and Warranty
Draft.build does not make any warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the information provided by this site, or accept any liability arising in any way from any omissions or errors. All information provided should not be regarded as advice or relied upon by you or any other person and we recommend that you seek professional advice before making any decisions related to the information provided on this site.
The following must be agreed and understood to comply with these Terms and Conditions:- All costs shown are indicative only and are not a substitute for an actual quote from a builder.
- No Draft.build data is a subsitute for any data normally provided by a suitably qualified professional.
- All data shown is sourced from the best available data providers but nevertheless may be incorrect from time-to-time and cannot substitute normal due diligence when making decisions.
- Where inaccuracies do occur, no liability is implied or accepted.
Open Source Licenses
In certain situations Draft.build uses software or software componenets licensed under various open source licenses. You will be advised of such situations during your use of Draft.build, and your compliance with the terms of those third party (open source) licenses is a mandatory condition for your use of Draft.build. Draft.build does not accept the creation of any unlicensed derivative works that you create in breach of these Terms and Conditions or any other laws or regulations.
Changes to these terms
From time to time these terms and conditions may need to be revised. You will be advised in writing of any changes and in exceptional cases, for example if you have revoked your consent for us to contact you in writing to convey revised terms, you may be required to agree to revised terms on a revised version of this form on our website, in order to continue to use the draft.build website.

Siteplan: The Lot Shape, Area, Dimensions and Neighbours
Basic essential information
View the siteplan as described in government property boundary databases. Pay particular attention to the lot area, the lot width, and the direction of north. Also pay attention to the position of any neigbouring residences - this can impact on noise, privacy and sunshine. Be aware that this data is sometimes not precise and cannot be used to replace a site survey produced by a registered surveyor.
Contours: The grade, slope and shape of the natural ground
Essential pre-design information
Traditionally a $1000+ survey, draft-build makes this data available in most cases from state-of-the-art LiDAR imaging, typically with ground elevations to within 30cm vertical accuracy.
>Use the contours report to see how the building might need to be shaped or built for split levels (or not), what the landscaped areas might need to look like, and where stormwater will flow to (which is generally where permitted stormwater drainage points must be available).
Financials: Valuation Pre-Development, Post-Develpoment, Valuation Components
Fundamental feasibility information
AVM current valuation, AVM post-development valuation and the optimal spend on building given the capital improvement opportunity projected.
Outlooks Report - Views, View Corridors and Overlooking
Basic essential information
In this report, available views or view corridors will show as green, while potential overlooking will show in red. It can highlight relative opportunities for where living areas should or should not face.
Solar: Overshadowing and sunshine characteristics for the given location
Fundamental design information
3D LiDAR-based model to project shading characteristics midwinter and midsummer, so show where windows should and should not be built.
